Following medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Steven Awner completed an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Buffalo. He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric and neuro-ophthalmology at Duke University Eye Center. He is Director of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Oishei Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He runs a private pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus practice in Amherst.
