AMY MEHTA, MD

Dr. Amy Mehta earned her medical degree at NY Medical College and completed her residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. She went on to complete a Glaucoma fellowship at Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois where she was voted Fellow of the Year by her peers and residents. She is active in glaucoma research, and has co-authored numerous articles in national and international medical journals. She serves on the American Glaucoma Society Committee on Patient Engagement and has received the Super Doctors Rising Star Award. Dr. Mehta practices with SightMD, an ophthalmology group with nearly 40 locations throughout Long Island, New York City and Westchester.
